Requested a phone call from my doctor, waste of time hanging on the phone waiting for it to be answered. Doctor hadn’t read my notes before calling, questioning my symptoms, refused to help. So glad I’m under the care of Kings and will be requesting a change of GP very soon.

I requested a telephone appointment and was allocated one accordong to its urgency..the Doctor phoned at the allotted time and listened and was most helpful..N o complaints.

All nurses at Westgate surgery are wonderful, always cheerful and give the best patient care. I am a nervous person and they always take time to look after my wellbeing before during and after the appointment, especially around injections or blood tests. Unfortunately most reception staff are cold, unwelcoming and make me feel stupid for asking questions. This morning I heard a receptionist being combative and belittling when a patient asked for his appointment to be written down, it really shocked me that she was rude to him for asking for something I feel should have been offered anyway. When I asked why I no longer get text reminders for appointments she shrugged and said "the system is down." No apologies or acknowledgement that it might be affecting me.
